Nancy Jean Overbury, SCA, has dedicated herself to exploring and expressing the profound beauty and emotional depth of nature. Her artistic journey began in her youth and has been driven by a desire to evoke powerful emotions through her work. 

Overbury is a creative with roots deep in the forest and branches stretched wide across Canada's artistic sky.  An artist of lush textures and poetic titles, she paints wind-swept trees and rebellious blooms that whisper stories of memory, strength, and feminine defiance. Whether it’s her childhood Hawthorn in bloom or a riot of petals against the urban sky, her canvases are both sanctuary and spark. But she's more than the art on your walls. As President of the Society of Canadian Artists, she champions transparency, elevates voices, and keeps the gears turning with vision and heart. She juggles gallery dreams, grant proposals, and spreadsheets with the same finesse as a palette knife. She runs her boutique, M&N Apothecary, with the same ethos, rooted in beauty, community, and supporting Canadian makers. She's a natural marketer, always polishing captions, crafting compelling campaigns, and dreaming up better ways to connect.
